Western Ontario Opening Doors HIV Counselling Initiative is proud to present the 2012 event: Opening Doors; Closing the Door on Stigma!
Being held at the Hilton in London, Ontario on March 1st and 2nd, 2012, this conference's innovative and thought provoking program focuses on stigma; not only discussing how people living with HIV/AIDS experience stigma, but also exploring and reflecting upon stigmas that exist within the HIV+ population. Join us as we explore and hear firsthand accounts from HIV+ individuals representing women, gay men and drug using communities.
This is an opportunity for anyone impacted by HIV/AIDS: service providers, HIV+ people and caregivers, to further our understanding of the stigma that accompanies the HIV virus and reflect upon our own biases.
